These are pictures from the road trip my college roommate Jon and I took in August '06. We drove the entire length of the Blue Ridge Parkway which is a 469-mile drive through the Appalachian Mountains extending from North Carolina to Virginia. It is argued as one of the most beautiful scenic drives in America. And who are we to argue with that? Except for the mostly cloudy and/or rainy weather we had, I believe they are right. But judge for yourself...
